OUR CHURCH HISTORY
Thirty-Five years ago, Greater First Missionary Baptist Church (GFMBC) was organized under the leadership of our current pastor, Bishop J. L. Hunt Jr. We have supported our members and community over these many years and we will continue to do so.

Our Vision is to Glorify God our Father who art in Heaven and Edify the Body of Christ in everything we do and everything we say.

Baptism is an act in which a Christian is immersed in water to symbolize the end of an old way of living, and a new start. When you get baptized it is a testimony to God and to others that you, by faith, will live a new life as a believer in Christ and God's holy word.
